WELCOME TO REX
In Umeå's old and beautiful Town Hall, in the middle of the square, you will find Rex. The building was built in year 1892 and Rex has been active in the building since 1996.
Today Rex offers several different environments and concepts where you can experience good food, drinks and exciting interior with all your senses. Visit restaurant Rex Brasserie, Rådhuspassagen with café and lunch or Juliette cocktailbar. In the cellar of the house, the pub Rådhuskällaren offers over 120 beer varieties and a streetfood-inspired menu. Rex also offers conference facilities and Umeå's best night club on Saturdays. At Rex you will meet a continental atmosphere.
THE HISTORY OF UMEÅS TOWN HALL
The city Archicect F-O Lindström completed the Town Hall in year 1892. After that, towns like Post, Tax Office, Judiciary, Police, Arrest, School Care and many others will be housed in the house until 1996 when Rex moves into large parts of the premises.
